From our very first conversation, through your mortgage application, right up to the moment you collect your keys, I’ll be by your side every step of the way. THE PROCESS.

STEP 1 – Understanding Your Needs
We’ll start by talking through your circumstances, priorities, and goals so I can understand exactly what you need. I’ll identify the most suitable mortgage solution for your situation and provide all the information you’ll require — including your Mortgage Certificate as proof of your Agreement in Principle. With that in hand, you can start viewing properties!

 

STEP 2 – Finding Your Ideal Home
I’ll help you search for and secure your dream home. When you’re ready to make an offer, I’ll guide you through the process to give you the best chance of success.

 

STEP 3 – Recommendations & Application
After reviewing the whole of the UK mortgage and protection markets, I’ll recommend the most suitable options based on your priorities. I’ll then submit your application to the lender. At this stage, your lender will arrange a Valuation Report of the property. I can also help you appoint a qualified surveyor to assess its true condition, and if you wish, I’ll assist you in finding and instructing a solicitor to start the legal work.

 

STEP 4 – Your Mortgage Offer
I’ll be in touch with the exciting news that your mortgage lender has made a full offer! Copies will be sent to you, your solicitor, and me.

 

STEP 5 – Exchanging Contracts
When your solicitors exchange contracts with the seller’s solicitors, both parties are legally committed to the purchase. At this point, I’ll make sure you and your new home are properly protected.

 

STEP 6 – Completion & Moving In
Your solicitor will receive the mortgage funds from your lender, combine them with your deposit, and make all necessary payments. Then comes the best part — you collect the keys and step into your new home
